Audi Q5’s Brief History:
Audi Q5 is a series of compact opulent crossover SUVs produced by luxurious German cars and engines manufacturing company which makes stylish and sturdy cars for its customers since the last century. The Q5 is now in its second generation and its first generation was from 2008-2016.

The Audi Q5 – a smart, decent, nicely built, but somewhat unspectacular SUV – is Audi’s ever best-selling car globally days. Around 1.6 million Q5s have found their homes since the car’s 2008 launch, a duration coinciding with Audi’s vast growth. And now there is a recent one.
So famous has the Q5 been that Audi has constructed a new factory in Mexico just to build it, probably 150,000 a year at first. It’s a car with new exterior look, elegant plusher interior, lighter body, and efficient engines. In the case of Q5, that weight saving mainly comes from the adoption of the new mixed-material MLB Evo platform, observed in other guises on the A4, A5 and Q7.

What about engine of the Audi Q5?
You can easily conclude that Q5’s engine line up leaves plenty of room for expansion. The initial strong engine line-up includes an energetic 2.0-litre diesel along with 190hp, a 2.0-litre petrol with 252hp, and the range-topping 3.0-litre V6 diesel with 286hp that will observe very soon after launch.

The 2.0-litre petrol also needs to be worked at first, a bit harder than the V6 in order to get it going, but once the revs are up, it moves the Q5 along at a brisk pace, too. It is a nice flexible sturdy engine, with a good spread of torque and improved sound that the larger diesel. It gives the car feel a touch more sprightly and agile, too.
Comfort and boot space in Audi Q5:
If you’re thinking that the Q5 can bear with four adults and their luggage then let me clear you that the boot is roomier enough to cope with three big suitcases and a couple of overnight bags. The driver’s seat looks decent as well.
Our verdict:
If you ask me, I would say that Audi Q5 is a monster and is excellent choice with excellent cruising refinement, well-built interior, secure handling and comfortable ride. Don’t waste your time and buy a brand new Q5 right away.
