It is a fact that most of the Hollywood stars have a thing for Tesla Model S, but what happened to the Roadster, company’s first EV? Why George Clooney doesn’t like it anymore?

George Clooney 53, is a world renowned film director and a brilliant actor, he once was a proud owner of 2008 Tesla Roadster, but in his interview with Esquire’s Tom Junod, he said he was really so disappointed with his Roadster, and had it auctioned off for charity last year.

He further added that he had a Tesla, and for the record, he was one of the first guys with a Tesla. According to him he probably was number five on the lucky list, and when you say lucky, it was only for a little while though as he had been standing on the road side in that thing every now and then, so he said to them, “Look, guys, why am I always stuck on the side of the f*****g road? Make it work, one way or another.”

Tesla Roadster made its debut in 2008 and continued till January 2012, as the supply of Lotus Elise gliders ran out and the continuity of that model could not have been possible. But there are news that the second generation model will show up sometime in 2018. Tesla Model S proud owners list contains some of hollywood’s superstar like Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jay-Z and many more.

Clooney is driving the Tango electric vehicle now-a-days and is pretty happy and satisfied with his new toy.
