Assets seized by Manchester Police are worth more than £60,000, six people were arrested

During a raid on a suspected organised crime group, the Greater Manchester Police officers confiscated a range of Mercedes and BMW vehicles. These high-class vehicles are worth well over £60,000, six suspects were also arrested. The raid was the result of Operation Harness where seven warrants were issued; five in Clayton, one in Blackpool and the last one was in Newton heath.

On suspicion of money laundering and conspiracy to supply drugs a 32-year-old man in Manchester was arrested. A 34-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs. Another 30-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of money laundering.

A 24-year-old girl and a 32-year-old man were also arrested in Blackpool on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs. Meanwhile, a BMW X5 and a Mercedes C63 with a combined worth of £60,000 have also been confiscated during the raid.
