New diesel engines help the Clubman to compete in the market and the lowest ever carbon emissions of just under 100g/km make its standing even stronger.
New MINI Clubman went on sale and the range has been accelerated to incorporate new low-tax diesel engine models perfect for company car drivers.Constructed on the MINI plant in Oxford, the new Clubman One D is also available to order now with first deliveries starting within weeks.
Effective MINI technologies
Effectivity is aided by means of MINI’s “Minimalism” technology which includes a gear shift display, brake energy regeneration, active cooling flaps and an approach which manages the usage of the fuel and coolant pump. Economy figures below are from preliminary checks.
Petrol engines
The entry level MINI Clubman engine is a 3-cylinder, 1.5-litre unit, which produces 134bhp and 220Nm of torque. It’s pretty rapid with a zero-62mph time of 9.1 seconds, and competitively priced too, promising 55.4 mpg and CO2 emissions of 118 g/km.
The fastest car within the line-up despite the fact that best marginally is the Cooper S, with its 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder engine. Diesel engines

It produces 188bhp and a whopping 400Nm of torque, but promises 62.8mpg and CO2 emissions of 119g/km.
