Nissan Navara fights for pick-up class in the market of SUVs.
The Nissan Navara is an excellent choice among others in pick-ups. Though in the presence of a large variety of SUVs, pick-ups are ignored, but there are still some powerful and good looking pick-ups seen on the roads of UK and the Nissan Navara is at the top of them.
Nissan Navara is a double cab format pick-up, offers lot of comfort and practicality. The Ford Ranger, Mitsubishi L200, Toyota Hilux and Volkswagen Amarok are its rivals, though few in numbers but give tough time to Navara. It is impressive one in its class but no match with Nissan X-Trail or any other SUV available in the market.

The Nissan Navara is available in King Cab form and Double Cab form. The seating arrangement is different in both Cabs with four-doors Double-Cab is two-front seats with traditional bench in the back, while the King Cab has two cinema-styled folding rear seats. The top speed of this engine is 110m/h with 11.6 seconds to get 0-62m/h speed. This engine is equipped with six-speed manual gearbox as standard but you can get a seven-speed automatic gearbox option.
The 190bhp 2.3 litre diesel engine is twin turbocharged unit with great power. It takes 10.8 seconds to get the Cab from 0-62m/h. Its top speed is 114m/h and gives 44m/g of fuel average with 167g/km of CO2 emissions. This version is equipped with seven-speed automatic gearbox. Both versions are with four-wheel drive option.

Pick-ups are rugged in built and used as working vehicles. To carry loads on different rough terrains are common with pick-ups. Nissan Navara, with its loading capacity fulfils its duties with ease and gives a smooth ride with comfort.
Nissan Navara Double-Cab is a good option with flexible seating arrangement for four or five people, while the king Cab due to its rear-hinged back doors and flip down rear-seats offers less space.

The king Cab boot is 1750mm in length and provides good space for loading but Double Cab is just 1537mm long with same width of 1560mm as the King Cab. Both versions are capable to carry more than a tonne of cargo.

Being a pick-up or working vehicle Navara is capable for a good towing capacity. It can haul up of 3500kg weight. Both versions of 2.3 litre diesel engine are with enough power to pull 2000kg Nissan Navara with extra load without any extra foot on high or low revs. If we compare Nissan Navara with its rivals, it is far better than any other pick-up of this range even gives better performance than the Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux overall.
