Drive, comfort, space, and practicality combined in an MPV

Seat gets its engines from VW group and has put up some very impressive moves in the market. Seat Alhambra, however, is an exception, competing impressively among its rivals, ahead of them due to its perfection in all directions. Even being a big vehicle, engines are not less in performance side and give a very good pick as compared to others in this class. You talk about its cabin, controls and suspension refinement or any other aspect; the answer will be a positive one. Only one thing which is not a fashionable one is its looks which depict a common sight with simplified front and back. Seat MPV look is not a big matter, its performance is. The engine provides a quite ride despite slightly noisy diesel, but here also engine power remains favorable to the body with no compromise.

Limited but Responsive Engines

The engine side is only restricted to two choices; one petrol and one diesel with two outputs. 1.4-Litre TSI petrol engine produces 148bhp and the other is 2.0-Litre diesel engine with two generations; one is 148bhp same as the petrol one and the other raised one is 181bhp. Both the engines have remarkable pull and they never feel underpowered even if loaded to its full capacity.

If you are concerned with the economy, then go for the smaller diesel engine as it will satisfy your list. The gearbox can be a manual one or an automatic transmission the choice is yours. With its big volume parking would have been a difficult affair but due to parking sensors, this problem is solved skillfully.

Interior Space is Luxurious

As said above there is a lot of space in the MPV due to its big size. There is no shortening of head or leg room even for the third-row passengers and even they get a comfortable ride without congesting any of them. Seven people can fit into the car with no problem at all. Driver’s position can be adjusted and most sizes can fit in comfortably with no problem at all.

The dashboard layout is simple and reachable with crisp details and controls. The only weak side of Alhambra is its safety where it stands as an unofficial 15th place in its testing. The rest of the MPV makes a perfect picture of a happy family car.

Technology Side is great

There are five trim levels and with every succession, the technology gets better and up to mark. The starting S level has 16-inch alloy wheels, touchscreen infotainment with Bluetooth connectivity, three-zone climate control, ESC and emergency brake assist all as standard. The SE level adds tinted windows, another inch to the alloy wheels, cruise control, roof rails, auto wipers and auto headlamps. The Connect trim brings smartphone connectivity and many more attractive features. Next is the SE LUX which increases the number of gadgets as power sliding doors, a panoramic sunroof, sat nav, leather interior, and a rear-view camera. The top one is FR-Line trim has a sportier touch with 18-inch alloys, Alcantara interior, and red stitching highlights.
