The government has developed a website that allows visitors to gather information on MoT history and other details of any particular vehicle. The website is named as MOT-history.net, the customer can find all the details about vehicle by simply entering registration and make number. It is great news for used car buyers.
The MoT site provides in-depth information about the MOT complete history, the information includes the details about MoT tests, MoT test number, the details about mileage and details about successful or unsuccessful attempts to pass MoT tests. And if any particular car has failed to pass the MoT, the site also provides the details about the cause of failure.
In case, if the particular car has a history of worn tyres, faulty brake pads, or corrosion, there is an advisory notice for that. The fundamental purpose of this site is to bring transparency between buyers and sellers of used car in the UK market.
The website also tells about the expiry date of MoT certificate of any particular vehicle, however the website is under development and soon will be available for public usage.
